Miri Segal Scharia- Founder & Chief Executive Officer 

Miri Segal-Scharia has more than 23 years of experience working with international companies, ranging from startups to publicly traded companies and span a variety of industries. She has successfully led the Investor Relations strategy of many IPOs and capital raises for global companies.

Prior to founding MS-IR she served as a Vice President at Strategic Growth International (SGI), a global Investor Relations boutique. Before moving to the U.S, she was a partner in the leading Israeli Investor Relations firm KM/KCSA, successfully managing IR accounts for leading technology companies.

Clients over the years included M-Systems, Lipman, Fundtech, Elbit Medical Imaging, Internet Gold, XTL Bio Tech, Ormat, AudioCodes, Retalix, Gain Capital, Nova, InMode and many others.

​

Miri Segal-Scharia holds a masters in business administration (specializing in Marketing) from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and French Literature from Tel Aviv University. Miri serves as a board member of the Israeli Business Forum (IBF) in NYC.

Nicholas (Nick) Alvarez-Staab,
Vice President

 

Nick is an investor relations and corporate communications specialist with six years of experience working directly with C-Suite executives to implement investor relations plans.

 

Nick began his career as an Advisory Analyst at NASDAQ, where he built and maintained relationships with clients and worked closely with CFOs, CEOs, Finance & Treasury Heads, and Investor Relations teams to assist in their investor relations efforts.

 

He then joined Endo Pharmaceuticals as an Investor Relations Analyst, where he developed and implemented overall IR program initiatives, with responsibility for press releases, earnings presentations, earnings scripts, and internal IR presentations, as well as planning and preparation for investor conferences and institutional targeting.

 

Nick brings a breadth of investor relations experience to the MS-IR team, as well as enthusiasm for serving client needs. Nick holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Temple University.

Dr. Eve Epstein,
Communications Strategist

 

As a communications strategist and consummate media relations expert, Eve Epstein has been responsible for refining the public image of some of the globe’s most prominent corporate and political leaders. She enables her clients to multiply their influence in the marketplace of ideas and secure the support of influential constituencies. Dr. Epstein is the founder and principal of Epstein & Associates, a boutique public relations consortium located in New York City, with cooperating partners world-wide.

 

At the United Nations, Eve Epstein worked directly with U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan to launch his package of institutional reforms. Other work with U.N. leaders throughout the Secretariat included delicate and sensitive communications -- touching on issues of politics, human rights, international security, and diplomatic solutions. She was the Secretary General’s adviser on crisis matters, working with U.N. departments of public information and political affairs, as well as the office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the UN Staff College and the UN Foundation. In 2008, Dr. Epstein co-authored a media action guide for U.N. leaders, titled “Communication As A Reform Tool For The United Nations." Dr. Epstein advises MS-IR on select P.R and crisis management projects.

Farah Merchant,
Vice President

 

Farah Merchant is an investor relations professional with over 10 years of experience in capital markets. She has extensive knowledge of investor communications, working with publicly-traded companies and with a wide range of industries including, shipping, biotech, mining, energy, healthcare, and technology. Prior to joining MS-IR, Farah spent three years at Business Wire, a global leader in press release distribution and regulatory disclosure where she was responsible for global disclosure and financial reporting.

 

Prior to Business Wire, she served as Vice President of Investor Relations for a boutique firm based in New York, focused on small to midsize companies. She has been highly effective in unlocking shareholder value for clients through the articulation of concise corporate strategies to investors and analysts that are transparent and consistent over time. Farah holds a Masters in Public Relations and Corporate Communications (specializing in Investor Relations) from N.Y.U. and a Bachelor of Science and Business from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
